Hand-dyed
100% silk scarves
The scarves on this
page are designed and painted by Candyce in her studio.
She doesn't use patterns, so each scarf is
one-of-a-kind. She paints each one with silk dyes
and brushes. They are then steam set to
permanently fix the color. Each scarf is washed
and rinsed before getting ironed and packaged. The
darker colors are washed more than once, but they may
still throw some color on your first washing. Be
sure to wash separately in cold water....hang to dry and
iron on a low setting while still damp for best results.

Habotai
silk scarves are imported from China. They arrive
with handrolled hems. I wash them and dry them before
stretching them. Imported French liquid dyes are then
used to paint the scarves
Each scarf I paint is unique.
There will never be two that are exactly alike. Each
scarf is hand-dyed, and no patterns are used. I do
everything freehand, and I approach each silk piece as
an individual work of art. Due to the popularity of

Caring for your silk scarf:
It is recommended that you wash your scarf
in cold water separately and hang to dry. The darker
scarves have been washed more than once in hot water, but they may still throw color
when washed again. Use silk/wool setting on your iron
while still slightly damp for best results. May also be
dry cleaned.
